Blank Gamer is the home to the best reviews, previews, news updates and other information on the gaming world available. Our readers are hungry for information on games from all platforms and genres, thus the "blank" in our name signifies that all gamers (PC gamers, Xbox gamers, etc.) are welcomed here.

If you haven't had a chance to try out the Filter bar at the top of the website, please do so now! We've designed the entire site so that instead of having seperate sections for each individual platform, you can see all of the news you are interested in...at once. We think this is a pretty sweet idea and we've put a lot of work into it! So go ahead and give it a try. If you like what you see, you can register with us so that your settings are saved every time you return. (And you will be returning...trust us.)

History

In 1996 a small e-newsletter named "The Blank Newsletter" was founded and began sending reviews to a small group of subscribers (and by small we mean under 20). Within a year the newsletter was being sent to over 10,000 readers and in turn spawned a website that was one of the top in the industry at the time. Within 3 years the company had been taken over by crosswalk.com where it received an un-timely demise upon the bursting of the dotcom bubble.

This website is the re-birth of that dream. We've had to bide our time due to legal red-tape and other projects, but now everything has fallen into place. With a slight change in the name (we now go by Blank Gamer instead of Blank Gaming) and a broadening of the platforms we are focused on, this website will run on the "by gamers for gamers" principle without being tied down by the corporate culture we've all learned to detest.
