When Blizzard employees weren't thumping their chests (and calling gamers geeks), they were giving us tasty morsels about Diablo 3. We've put together a list of the most promising and most important items for your viewing pleasure.

Diablo 3:
- There will be a beta before the game is released and Blizzard promised that 1,000 of the lucky attendees would get access codes.
- The fifth character class is the Demon Hunter, which we feel is appropriate for this game.
- The Demon Hunter will focus on ranged weapons and dark magic. Oh, and this class can use grenades...awesome.
- There will be PvP fighting in arenas.
- Gold will be a scarce resource in this game. Developers felt that there was far too much gold in Diablo 2.
- In-game player trading has been revamped for simplicity.
