More Duke Nukem Forever info

Games On Net posted an interview with Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox Software, and the topic of discussion was Duke Nukem Forever. There is a lot of really good information here and we encourage fans to check it out.
Here is a sampling of what we found most interesting:
- Gearbox Software considers this the first in a series of games. They haven't put any thought into the sequels, but they confirmed that they bought the franchise with the future in mind.
- They had $20 million to invest in a brand...and they choose Duke Nukem. They sound very committed.
- They reconfirmed that it will be released on the 360 and PS3
- Richard talks about some of the game's interactivity, including a fully functioning pinball machine!

Hi DOSMP.I'm the webmaster of RGB Classic Games. When I sratted the site, it will still possible to play most DOS games without an emulator in the latest Windows operating system (XP). Between Vista's new video drivers and the inability of 64-bit versions of Windows to run 16-bit software, DOS games can no longer be played without an emulator or virtualization suite.Transitioning to a post-16-bit world means that the site needs a much heavier focus on assisting visitors to play the site's games. The easiest solution is to have pre-installed copies of the games that visitors can play right in their browser, which we've had for a few years now. But I also want to do what you're doing: not just help people play the games, but help them find people to play against. I'm interested in working together towards that goal. Please email me and we can discuss some ideas I have.Best regards.
