Well what do you know? Square Enix has announced a new Tomb Raider game...and it's a prequel. Which is interesting, since Croft appears to be far hotter than in the original games. Not that gamers are complaining.

The game will be featured in Game Informer's January issue, so for right now all we have is a short lead-in to the storyline: "After a brutal storm destroys the boat she was traveling on, a frightened young woman is left washed ashore on an unknown beach. On her own but not alone she has only one goal, to survive."

Not much there, but we'll be sure to keep you posted!

Oh and just for kicks and giggles, let's compare our modern prequel Lara to the original one.


Wow, Lara, you've come a long way! And look at how ridiculous that 'body' design is....clearly those designer nerds had never met a real girl.
