Well it's official. The ratio of gamers with pasty white skin to brown sun-tanned skin will skyrocket today...as gamers everywhere forsake family, friends, work, and even sunlight to immerse themselves in the World of Warcraft universe for hours on end.

Yes, Blizzard has just confirmed what we already knew...WOW: Cataclysm will be available in stores today for $39.99 ($79.99 for those interested in the collectors edition and no it doesn't come with a girlfriend, sorry about that). Blizzard also went out of its way to inform us that this is the bestest expansion ever, which is a relief.

Plus, just in case we don't read Wikipedia they also provided this short synopsis, "In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has returned, and the world has been reshaped by the devastation left in his wake. In an effort to survive the planet-shattering cataclysm, two new playable races -- worgen and goblins -- join the struggle between the Alliance and the Horde. Players can now begin their journey to the new level cap of 85, discover newly revealed locations, acquire new levels of power, and come face to face with Deathwing in a battle to determine the fate of the world."

We hope you guys love it! Oh and if you crack your head on your mountain-dew stained keyboard, because you've fallen into a mental stupor brought on by hours of blood-shot screen staring...well, don't say we didn't warn you.
