Looks like the guys at Kalypso Media are still working hard on Dungeons. They've just released a gameplay trailer and not only is the game looking good, it also has a particularly evil sounding narrator. And we all know the narrator is the most important part of any gameplay trailer.
So what is Dungeons? It's a dungeon simulator in which the player creates a dungeon by digging tunnels, purchasing and placing artifacts, controlling minions, etc, all for the purpose of luring unlucky heroes into their clutches. The game has clearly been influenced by the old Dungeon Keeper titles, and that's not a bad thing. Those games were an absolute blast and anyone who can both modernize and capture the genius of those games will get a hearty clap on the back from us!

Beckikaze@McNoat: Nonetheless, Vasel describes that they had a blast while pniyalg it. The randomness comes form the encounter cards. I think it is random enough and feels a bit tactical. So you are talking about which monsters to kill first and in which way and what the group will do next. It really captures the feeling of a cooperative game. You have to work as a team.What I am missing there is the lack of character development. One have to deal with that. Itb4s not a typical dungeon crawler, but fun!
